By introducing a mobile stairway, a symbiosis with urban architecture is created. When parked, the vehicle enhances the space it occupies by transforming it into an open staircase that invites people to pause and linger.
The steps can be used in multiple ways and adapt to the needs of city residents. The transport object functions as a mobile meeting point, where people can sit, lie down, and walk. Abstraction and radicality are integral parts of the design. The body is made of galvanized steel sheet. Inside, wooden blocks serve as versatile seating elements.

The design process began with rapid conceptualization, using quick sketches to capture and explore initial ideas before settling on the core concept: integrating a mobile staircase directly onto a vehicle. To test scale and functionality, physical prototypes were constructed using low-fidelity materials like Lego and cardboard, allowing for quick iterations on the mechanism and structure. Once the design was refined, a detailed final model was built to clearly visualize the finished concept and demonstrate how the mobile stairway operates in context.
